Hot Melt DTF Powder

Hot melt powder is what makes a DTF print stick to a shirt. After the printer lays down the color and white ink, the powder is applied over the wet ink, the excess is shaken off, and the film is cured. When the transfer is pressed, that adhesive layer melts into the fabric and holds the print in place.

Coverage depends on how you apply it. An even layer that clings only to the inked areas gives a cleaner transfer than a heavy coat, and shaking off the excess well keeps stray powder from leaving dots on the film.

Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place. Powder that picks up moisture clumps and goes on unevenly, which shows up later as weak spots in the print.
