Woven Labels

Woven labels are made by weaving your design into the label with thread, rather than printing it on top. That gives them a textured, finished look, and it's why so many clothing brands use them for neck labels and hem tags.

Because the design is woven, detail is limited by the thread. Your brand name and a simple mark will look sharp at 1 to 2 inches; a complex logo with small text needs the larger sizes or a simplified version.

Think about where the label goes before you choose a size. A neck label sits on the skin, so smaller is often more comfortable, while a hem or sleeve tag can be a little bigger. Labels are sewn into the garment once they arrive.
